Elf on the Shelf Card

An old favorite revived, "Elf on the Shelf!"

I did not grow up with this Christmas folk tale but some of my friends did. Personally I think the little doll itself is creepy but hey it works for the kids and that's what matters at this time of year. This image is from the new kit released from SVGCuts, Santa's Helpful Elves.

I sponged the edges of the card to give it dimension and I embossed his hat brim with snowflakes and his hair with swiss dots. Pop dotted his nose and hat turnover for a 2-D raised effect. I coming near to the end of my stash of SU Blush Blossom where to this day I still have not found a CS in flesh tone as well as this one was, I wish Stampin! Up would un-retire it.

It's been a long time since I last posted, so I hope you enjoy viewing this card and happy crafting!
Cheers,
